Additional Information
One or more annual scholarship awards shall be given to deserving students who wish to initiate or resume his or her education in pursuit of a college degree, or who wish to pursue a post graduate degree. It was the desire of the donor that the University of Missouri-Columbia provide assistance to mature, non-traditional students (meaning students who have not followed the traditional path of commencing and completing a college degree immediately after high school) who are seeking to better themselves through education. It was a particular wish to provide assistance to the single parent who is attempting to juggle work, care of children, and continuing education.
