Funded by the law firm of Buttafuoco & Associates, YCL was created to support the next generation of dedicated, Christian professionals who will use their talents to impact their families, communities and the world. YCL is for the empowerment of students who have shown dedication, character, promise, determination and a desire to apply those qualities to their God-given calling. Young people under the age of 24 who are either high school seniors entering college or are currently full-time undergraduates are eligible to apply. Graduate students are not eligible. YCL Scholarships are for young people under the age of 24 who are either high school seniors entering college or are currently full-time undergraduates. Graduate students are not eligible. •Applicants must have permanent residence in NY, NJ, CT, or PA but may attend college/university elsewhere. •All applicants must have a pastoral letter of recommendation and an academic letter of recommendation •All applicants must submit an essay. •Applications may only be submitted once per calendar year by the 15th of the month to be considered in the following month’s selection process. (e.g., apply by April 15th for a May award). Each applicant may receive a maximum total of three awards per 12-month period. •Each completed application will automatically be considered for 12 months. After one year, applicants must submit a new application to be considered. •Only completed applications will be eligible for each month’s pool of ten nominees. Applicants may not be notified if their application is incomplete. Each month’s two award winners will be selected from the nominees. •Applications of award recipients are eligible for re-consideration 90 days following their award month (i.e., a December award winner may be considered again in March for an April award). |
