Established to provide financial assistance for college ot high school seniors or currently-enrolled college students who are of Ukrainian heritage.

Additional Information

Applicants must be seniors in high school or currently enrolled in college and members in good standing (for at least two years) of the Ukrainian Fraternal Association. They must satisfy one of the following minimum insurance requirements: $2000 Endowment (E-18; E-15; E-20); $4000 T-20, T-65, or E-65 policy; $4000 single premium life (SL) or single premium endowment at 65 (SE-65); or $10000 term insurance (TM-10). AD/D policies do not qualify. As part of the application process, students must submit a short autobiography, a photograph, a copy of their latest transcripts, and recommendations from their local branch secretary or supreme council member. They must also write an essay on a topic that changes annually. Selection is based on financial need, academic record, and the written essay.
