This scholarship is offered to new students of color (African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American) entering Evergreen fall quarter as full-time undergraduate students. Scholarships will be awarded to students who have distinguished themselves in a wide range of areas, e.g., high academic achievement, community service, music, art, journalism, science, etc. The applicant must submit a letter of application explaining his/her achievements and why he/she wish to be considered for this scholarship; must submit transcripts from high school and/or previous colleges; and must submit three letters of recommendation written within the past year from individuals, other than relatives, who are familiar with your achievements.
