Applicants must not be married, to include common law, never married,
never had a marriage annulled, have never cohabited, never had a child,
or be pregnant. The applicant must be of Hispanic descent, between the
ages of 18 and 22. She must be a United States citizen and a Colorado resident for at least six months prior to application deadline. Since emphasis is on promoting higher education, applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 upon applying. Applicants are required to submit a current and official sealed high school or college transcript, a resume and three letters of recommendation. It is important to note that the transcript can be from within nine months of attending high school or college. It is also important to understand that the transcript sent to the Fiesta Committee must be sealed and stamped with and official seal, depending on what is used at the high school or college.
