Additional Information
To qualify, a student must be the legal dependent of a person who is credentialed and in good standing with the Department of Ordered Ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church. The credentialed parent may be employed in a local Covenant church, a Covenant institution, a Covenant camp, or serve as missionaries of the Evangelical Covenant Church through the department of Covenant Mission, or may be employed in another ministry setting while maintaining Covenant credentials (i.e. military chaplains, pastors serving non-Covenant churches). Exceptions shall be persons holding a lay license, the license for theological students, or an interim license. The Covenant Clergy Grant does not extend to these persons or to their children. However, they may qualify for other forms of financial aid.
