Established in the year 2000, the CBC Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts Scholarship program was developed in honor of the late Curtis Mayfield to ensure that students pursuing a career in the performing arts receive the financial assistance to achieve their goals.

Additional Information

The performing arts include theater, motion pictures, drama, comedy, music, dance, opera, marching bands and other musical ensembles. CBC will award up to $3,000 each for up to 10 students. To be eligible for a CBC Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts scholarship, applicants must: ?Be preparing to pursue an undergraduate degree full-time or be a current full-time student in good academic standing at an accredited college or university ?Be planning to pursue a degree in a field that will lead to a career in the performing arts ?Have a minimum 2.5 GPA ?Exhibit leadership ability and participate in community service activities Please go the website for application and additional information.
