The American Chemical Society Scholars Program is designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences. Approximately 100 scholarships will be awarded of up to $2500. The applicants must be high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically-related science. The applicant must also demonstrate financial need according to FAFSA, and have a GPA of 3.0 minimum.
