The American Chemical Society Scholars Program is a scholarship designed for African Americans, Hispanic/Latino, and Native Americans students seeking to pursue undergraduate college degrees in chemical sciences and chemical technology. Applicants must be high academic achievers in chemistry or science (GPA 3.0, ”B” or better), be able to demonstrate evidence of financial need according to FAFSA form and the Student Aid Report (SAR) form, and be a graduating high school senior, college freshman, sophomore or junior intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically-related science and planning a career in the chemical sciences or chemical technology;
