Established to provide financial assistance for postsecondary education of children of deaf parents.

Additional Information

This program is open to the hearing children of deaf parents who are high school seniors or graduates. Applicants must submit a 2-page essay on their experience as the child of deaf parents, how it has shaped them as individuals, and their future career aspiration; essays are judged on organization, content, creativity, and sense of purpose. In addition to the essay, selection is based on a high school transcript and two letters of recommendation.
