Description:

Established to provide financial assistance to college students who are willing to serve as Navy or Marine Corps officers following completion of their bachelor’s degree.

Additional Information

This program is open to students who have completed at least two years of college (or three years if enrolled in a 5-year program) with a grade point average of at least 2.5 overall and 2.0 in calculus and physics. Preference is given to students at colleges with a Navy ROTC unit on campus or at colleges with a cross-enrollment agreement with a college with an NROTC unit. Applicants must be U.S. citizens between the ages of 17 and 21 who plan to pursue an approved course of study in college and completed their degree before they reach the age of 27. Former and current enlisted military personnel are also eligible if they will complete the program by the age of 30.
