Awarded to a female Buchanan High School Senior. To receive the scholarship award, the recipient will be enrolled as a student at an accredited institution of higher learning. Applications for these scholarships are available from the Foundation or from high school counseling offices. All scholarship applications are due by March 15th of the current school year. |

Student must maintain a grade point of 2.5 or better on a scale of 4.0. Qualities of leadership, moral character, volunteerism, and community service will be evaluated by the selection committee. Financial need is not a determining factor, but can be considered when appropriate. May require interview. We also recommend the following as you pursue support for higher education: ? Fill out the forms: You cannot receive a scholarship if you do not apply for it. ? Due dates are firm. Scholarship programs will not consider late applications. ? Ask questions: Call us for more information about these scholarship programs. Discuss your own special needs with your counselors. ? Do your homework: Know when applications are due for Federal Student Aid, do a scholarship search for resource information, attend a financial aid night.
