Awarded to a Buchanan High School senior who lives in the Buchanan Lions service area. Preference will be given, but is not limited to, a student who demonstrates need within the service objectives of the Buchanan Lions Club, which traditionally provides aid to those challenged with sight, hearing, or speech impairments Applications for these scholarships are available from the Foundation or from high school counseling offices. All scholarship applications are due by March 15th of the current school year.

Additional Information

A graduating senior who is a resident of the Buchanan Lions Club service area and shows academic achievement at a level indicative of success at an accredited institution with evidence of leadership and citizenship throughout the community through school and/or personal activities. Interview required.Award: Amounts up to $1000; nonrenewable We also recommend the following as you pursue support for higher education: ? Fill out the forms: You cannot receive a scholarship if you do not apply for it. ? Due dates are firm. Scholarship programs will not consider late applications. ?
