This scholarship is to be awarded to a first year graduate student in photography. The funds may be used to recruit talented photography students in the program. Applicants must submit a portfolio of work to the faculty in the Photography Program in the School of Art for consideration. The work must demonstrate the applicant’s ability, talent and creativity. Students receiving the award should be enrolled for a minimum of 12 hours per quarter and must continue progress towards an MFA in Photography. This scholarship may be awarded to incoming graduate students who have qualified for a stipend. The scholarship may be renewed annually for two additional years, as long as the recipient maintains a GPA of 3.0 while pursuing a MFA in Photography. The recipient is asked to send the benefactor one print each quarter (no larger than an 8 x 10).
