Description:
To assist an individual who has epilepsy with his/her academic and/or vocational training.
Additional Information
Minimum Application Requirements: 1. Have a primary diagnosis of epilepsy/seizure disorder; provide name of physician and name of anticonvulsant medications(s). 2. Provide proof of acceptance to a post-secondary academic or vocational program. 3. Be a full-time student or equivalent thereof. 4. Submit a completed application no later than November 1. 5. Be a legal resident of Western Wisconsin (22 county coverage area) or attending a school in Western Wisconsin (22 county coverage area). Awards will be based on the quality of applications through a competitive scoring system that balances need with achievement. The Epilepsy Foundation reserves the right to determine each year the number of scholarships to be awarded based on the quality of the applications. Awards, once given, are not automatically renewed.
