Service is defined as the practice of medicine (patient care) in the specialty area (family medicine) for which the scholarship was received. | |

| Available to Mississippi residents who have been fully admitted to the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Must plan to specialize in family medicine and agree to practice in a geographical area in Mississippi that is designated as a critical needs area for a period of not less than ten (10) years. | |
