| The Leroy Collins Memorial Scholarship will be awarded by the weathercasting operations within the FSU Department of Meteorology. The department anticipates a yearly award to be made. The award is available to Florida residents, it will be paid in the senior year, and will be awarded to a meteorology major involved in weathercasting (especially TV and/or radio) as a career goal. Underclassmen interested in weathercasting are encouraged to do what they can to become strong applicants for this award when they reach their senior year.
