Established to provide financial assistance for the postsecondary education of children of Florida veterans who are disabled, deceased, or officially classified as prisoners of war or missing in action.

Additional Information

Eligible for these scholarships are residents of Florida between 16 and 22 years of age who are the dependent children of 100 percent disabled or deceased wartime veterans or of servicemen officially classified as prisoners of war or missing in action. Veteran parents who served in the Iranian Rescue Mission, the Lebanon and Grenada military areas, the Newfoundland air tragedy, the USS Stark attack, Operation Just Cause in Panama, or the Persian Gulf War must have been residents of Florida for one year prior to the student’s application.
