Description:
The Monetary Award Program (MAP) provides grants, which do not need to be repaid, for undergraduate students who meet the eligibility criteria. To receive a MAP grant, students must demonstrate financial need. Students are not required to submit high school grades or test scores when applying for a MAP grant.
Additional Information
An individual must: 1) be a resident of Illinois; 2) demonstrate financial need; 3) be enrolled at a MAP-approved Illinois institution in a degree or certificate program; 4) comply with federal Selective Service registration requirements; and 5) maintain satisfactory academic progress as determined by the college or university. Additional criteria may apply.
