| All Cal Grant applicants must: 1) Be California residents 2) Be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens 3) Meet U.S. Selective Service requirements 4) Attend an eligible California qualifying postsecondary institution 5) Be enrolled at least half-time 6) Maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined at school of attendance7) Have family income and assets below the established ceilings 8) Not be in default on any student loan, and 9) Not owe any federal or state grant refund. Additional criteria may apply. | |
