Established to provide funding to minority high school seniors interested in preparing for a journalism career in college.
Additional Information
This program is open to minority high school seniors who have been accepted to college and plan to pursue a career in journalism. Applicants must 1) demonstrate an ongoing interest in journalism through work in high school and/or other media; 2) submit a 1-page essay on why they want to pursue a career in journalism; and 3) have at least a 2.75 grade point average in high school. Financial need is considered in the selection process.
