| This program is open to graduating high school seniors in Boston, El Paso, Los Angeles, or San Jose who will be enrolling as a full-time student at an accredited 4-year college or university. Applicants must be an underrepresented minority (African American, Hispanic American, or American Indian) planning to major in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science. They must be interested in a summer internship at a major Hewlett-Packard (HP) location in California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, or Washington. Selection is based on academic achievement, letters of recommendation, an autobiographical statement, financial need, and demonstrated interest in math, science, and engineering. | |
