| This scholarship will be awarded to a Physically Handicapped Student at San Juan College. The applicant must have a medically verified physical disability that substantially limits one or more major life activities, such as, caring for one’s self, performing manual tasks, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, or breathing. The applicant will be a full-time or part-time student carrying a minimum of two credit hours. A student carrying 10 credit hours or more will be considered a full-time student. The applicant must have been awarded either a high school diploma or GED. The applicant has and will maintain a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. First preference shall be given to the most severest of handicaps with a student’s GPA being used a a ”tie-breaker.” | |
