Successful entrepreneurs Jim and Cindy Boyd attended TCC at various times and endowed this scholarship for students currently enrolled or entering Tarrant County College with consideration given to single heads of household who are trying to improve the quality of life for themselves and their families. Must be enrolled in at least nine hours for period of award. Must have minimum of a 2.5 TCC GPA or high school equivalent if first-time TCC student or minimum GED score of 55. Submit the following: a narrative addressing personal situation, finances, future career goals, personal achievements and volunteerism; a TCC Foundation Scholarship application available from your campus financial aid office; two letters of recommendation (one must be from a faculty member or teacher who has taught the student or recent employer); and an academic transcript or GED scores if applicable.
