| One $500 scholarship is offered each spring and fall to a student who writes the best essay on the topic “How a Part-time Teacher(s) Influenced My Life.” Participants must be continuing MATC students (part- or full-time) who have successfully completed at least 4 post high school courses at MATC by the time of the award. For credit courses, a C average is required; for non-credit courses, grades of S or P are required. Scholarships are to be awarded one time only to an individual, but eligible students may reapply if they have not yet received the scholarship. | |
