Description:
Applicant must be the child of a member of a local union affiliated with this council, or a high school senior who is a member of a local union affiliated with this council. The applicant must have been accepted in a postsecondary institution (may be a certificate- or degree- granting institution). The applicant must rank in the upper 50 percent of class.
Additional Information
Applicant must complete application form and submit an essay of not less than 200 words on the subject,: ”What Should Be the Major Goals of the Labor Movement in the Next Decade, and What Should Labor Do to Achieve These Goals?”
