| Legally blind full-time students in California may apply for a scholarship, but they must attend the convention of the National Federation of the Blind of California. Applicants must submit an essay in which they describe their educational goals, involvement in the blindness community, and eye condition. High school seniors and college freshmen must submit their high school transcripts; other college students must submit transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work. Selection is based on academic merit. | |
