| This program is open to high school seniors in Texas who are FFA members and have been members at least two of the three previous years. Applicants must be planning to major in college in a field related to the agricultural sciences, of instruction in agriculture and/or agribusiness during high school and scored at least 950 on the SAT or 20 on the ACT. U.S. citizenship and ranking in the top half of their graduating class are also required. Selection is based on academic achievement; SAT or ACT scores; agricultural science and career related instruction; FFA achievement, including the supervised agricultural experience; financial need; and performance during interviews regarding academics, FFA achievement, and financial need. | |
