Established to provide financial assistance for undergraduate or graduate studies in telecommunications or broadcasting to Alaska Natives and to their lineal descendants (natural or adopted).
Additional Information
This program is open to Alaska Native enrollees under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971 and their lineal descendants. Proof of eligibility must be submitted. Preference is given to original enrollees/descendents of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) who have at least a 3.0 grade point average. There is no Alaksa residency requirement or age limitation. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled full time in a two-year undergraduate, four-year undergraduate; or graduate program. They must be majoring in telecommunications or broadcasting. Financial need is considered in the selection process.
