Description:
All applicants must complete and submit the APIASF Scholarship application before being considered for any scholarship. The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) is pleased to partner with the Walmart Foundation to offer one-time $2,500 scholarships to full-time, first-year to Asian and Pacific Islander American community college students. This scholarship is only available to students who attend: City College of San Francisco, De Anza College and South Seattle Community College. Go to website for the application.
Additional Information
To be eligible for this scholarship, individuals must: •For 21 incoming freshmen for this academic year, •Preference will be given to students majoring in the areas of Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Information Systems. •Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census •Be a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the U.S. Citizens of the Freely Associated States may apply •Be enrolling in a U.S. accredited college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student in the upcoming academic year •Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) or have earned a GED •Must apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
